Celebrate your child’s next birthday in our beautiful, newly renovated Discovery in Motion children’s studio and creative play space. With a safe, child-friendly space and unique activity options, we’re sure you will find the perfect place to celebrate your child’s birthday.
To request more information about our birthday parties and check availability for your child’s birthday party, please fill out our Birthday Party Request Form and we will get back to you with available dates and more information. Please note that a non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve the date and time of your party.
Birthday Party Options:
Our parties are held on either Friday nights from 4:00 – 7:00 PM or Saturday afternoons and evenings from 2:00-5:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM. Party time includes set up and pack up time.
All Birthday Parties include the following:
- 12 Children (add extra children for $5/child, up to a maximum of 18 children)
- 2-hour private rental of the play/party space at Discovery in Motion.)
- 30 minutes of set up-time before party
- 30 minutes of pack up-time after party
- 1 table for food and beverages
- 4 tables and appropriate number of chairs for children
- 1 Birthday party attendant
- All clean-up & trash removal
- There is a sink and a small fridge available for use with this package.
- CD player or I-Pod Hookup available

Space Rental
If you just need a beautiful space to celebrate your children’s birthday, the Discovery In Motion Center 991 Boylston Street in Newton is available. Our Space Party Package is ideal for families that have planned already activities such us open play, arts and crafts, dancing, music and movement or gymnastics.
- 5 hours Private Rental
- Up to 15 kids included ($5 each additional child over 12 months of age-up to 20 children)

Spanish Music and Movement Party
The Music & Movement Package is ideal for small-medium sized parties, with 10-15 children and their parents. An ABC Spanish in Motion instructor will entertain children and parents for 45 minutes. Children under four should be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Your guests will be able to enjoy our space, play instruments and have fun with parachutes, play dress-up, and sing and dance in Spanish. This package is recommended for a child’s 1st-3rd birthday. Every guest will take home a goody bag with bubbles and a Spanish Music CD with the songs played at the party.
- 10 kids included ($5 each additional child over 12 months of age – up to 15)
- 2 hours of Private Rental of our Space
- 45-minute instructor-led Spanish Music & Movement interactive class, followed by open play with instruments, props, parachutes, and other class props and teaching aids.
- COST: $400
Spanish Music-Movement-Art Party
This Package is ideal for small-medium sized parties, with 10-12 children and their parents or drop off. This package is recommended for a child’s 4th-8th birthday and is ideal for parties with children of varying ages. The activities are well-suited for 4 to 8 year olds. An ABC Spanish in Motion instructor will entertain children for 75 minutes. Your guests will be able to enjoy our space, play instruments and enjoy parachutes, dress up, singing, dancing and an art project in Spanish. Every guest will take home a goody bag with bubbles and a Spanish Music CD with the songs utilized at the party.

- Facilitated music-movement and art Activity for 75 minutes

Customized Party
Our Customized Party Package is ideal for parents that need some help from picking a theme, decorating to entertaining children 1-12 years old. This party can be small-medium or large sized parties, with 15 or more children and their parents. Possible themes range from (but are not limited to) a Japanese spa with sushi, beanie boos, nature, Hawaiian, Nutcracker, cowgirls/cowboys, circus, farm themes, Legos,
etc. Ask us about having live critters visit. The farm animal petting zoo is always a hit, as are the exotic creepy-crawlies such as snakes, turtles and tarantulas! Let us know what your child likes and discuss theme and activity options. Then then we’ll do all the preparation, set up, and host the event for you.
- 15 children included ($5 each additional child over 12 months of age, with a maximum of 20 children)
- 2 hours of Private Rental space
- 45 minutes to 1 hour of a special program depending on the chosen theme (i.e: live animals, live farm, Zumba, magic tricks, face painting, etcetera).
- COST: $595
- Additional fees may apply depending on specific needs-i.e.: pick up cake, catering, etc.
Additional Package Items:
- Additional Half Hour of Open Play — $50
- Additional Children — $5/each additional child
- 12 Padded, Adult Folding Chairs — $10
Additional Amenities:
For the added convenience of our guests, we also provide a refrigerator, freezer, IPod connection/music, and changing table/nursing area. A limited amount of adult folding chairs can be made available upon request. Please inquire about specifics.
How to book a party:
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve the date/time of a party. If for any reasons the party family needs to reschedule the birthday party, a $50 fee will be charged in order to reschedule the party.
Deposits can be made via cash, check, or electronically through Paypal, which accepts all major credit cards. To use Paypal, please send the payment to Paypal username of classes@ABCSpanishInMotion.com (no spaces). Final payment is due the week before your party. Each package price includes 10 children. If less than 10 children attend the birthday party, you are still responsible for the entire package price. If more than 10 children are present, a fee of $5 per each additional child (above the age of 12 months) will be added to the final bill.
After we have confirmed an available date and time available for your party, you may reserve the party date and time with a non-refundable $100 deposit.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
