Please join us for a morning of musical and instructional fun in Spanish. There is no charge, and please arrive a few minutes early. No unaccompanied adults, please).

Fall, 2018 Classes (September – December)
Spanish Music & Movement for Babies & Toddlers (6 months – 3.5 years)
Spanish Music & Movement classes are fun and interactive, where parents, caregivers and educators expose children to the Spanish language, music, and Latin-American cultural elements. Children are exposed to Spanish through songs that create an environment that allows for a long periods of listening and exposure, coupled with call-and-response interactivity requiring physical movement. Parents receive a copy of our own music heard in class to enjoy in the car and at home.
Classes for the babies and toddlers are tailored to allow the smallest children to experience visually, audibly, an kinaesthetically, according to the Total Physical Response) (TPR) teaching method. Age-appropriate instruments and props are used, and while language acquisition is not necessarily expected, some words may be learned by the ‘older little ones’. The class is full of music, play, and interaction.
Class is lead fully in Spanish, and games, songs, books, sign language, puppets, parachutes and toys cultivate curiosity and stimulate children in rewarding ways. This language adventure can take them for a ride on a train (parachute) to visit the diverse and flora and fauna of the the Americas, or simply “popping” burbujas(bubbles) in the bath top with patos (ducks) and ranas (frogs). If your child likes jumping, dancing, role-play, and singing this is the perfect class!
